Regular Giving

Give, and it will be given to you.

A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.

For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

~ Luke 6:38

Weekly Giving

We are so very grateful to all who give each week. Our parish is self-funding and it is your giving that enables our mission and ministry to continue to flourish.

We welcome all giving, but keep in mind that you can claim back from your taxes by using direct credit and offertory envelopes.

You can set up giving by direct deposit to our Westpac account, Anglican Parish of Johnsonville, 030525 0203556 00. In the details include your name and “offering”.

If you wish to make a once-off donation, contact Tina in the office.

Food Donations

Non-perishable food donated for the food banks is collected at each Sunday service.

You can place these in the basket at the back of the church before the start of the service.

The offerings are brought up to the altar along with plate offerings.

Parish Mission Partner Family

We are delighted to be supporting the Wheelers, who have recently been accepted by NZCMS as Mission Partners to Papua New Guinea. Scott and Nikki, along with their children Isaac, Abby and Levi, plan to start serving in Kapuna sometime this year. This family is closely linked to our parish, with Nikki’s mum Janet Tiffin, so we feel deeply connected to their mission.

Now that they are set up in Kapuna, they keep everyone updated with what they are up to and how their projects are going via an email group; if you would like to receive those emails, please email Nikki here.

They would appreciate your support and prayers as they embark on this journey to serve the people of the Gulf Provence of PNG!

You are welcome to make a gift payment with the label ‘Wheelers’ via direct debit or envelope offering, as detailed above.

Anglican Board of Missions

We also run a mission table at Sunday services once a month. This is a chance to bring along baking, craft items and small second-hand goods for sale.  Remember to have some change in your pocket those Sundays – there are always some good things available for purchase.

Do you have a missions box? In addition to our monthly stall, we collect mission donations in April and October. Money from the boxes goes to New Zealand Anglican Board of Missions. If you would like to be able to put aside spare change, talk to Ben. Of course you can donate without having a mission box—put the money in an envelope marked “Missions” and leave it in the offertory plate.

There are a number of Christian mission organisations in  New Zealand that  are either formally connected to the Anglican church or have a long tradition of support from Anglican parishes, these include:

Support our ministry missions…

Our CPAC team have spent years building incredible teams to support organisations in our community.

Get in touch if you would like to give your time, resources or prayer to the following mission teams:

  • Arohata Prison Ministry (Bronwyn Austin)

  • Drug Arm Ministry (Dave Oldershaw)

But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.
